The Apple Festival

We went to our very first apple festival. It is a big deal here, the most important festival of the year. It was so much fun to walk the streets of our downtown. There, walking with my family hand in hand...it hit me...this is our town, this is our new downtown. I saw a flag wisping in the wind, and I had one of those sentimental Ameican moments. Hometown pride. The simple joy of living in this great country. Maybe it was the choir we wlaked past that was singing "God Bless America", maybe it was the flag, or the feeling of happiness to be out with my family in perfect weather. Whatever it was, it left me with a feeling that I was in the perfect place..right where I belonged. I'm home. Here are some great photos that Abbie took!
