Our first Snow....EVER

This was the first time any of us witnessed snow. I walked out one morning and noticed something really weird when the wind blew. I thought some tree was shedding some kind of strange seedlings. I never imagined it would snow in October here. Apparently, it was some kind of record for early snow. It was awesome. I yelled in to the kids to tell them it was snowing. They went wild, grabbing any sort of warmth they could get thier hands on. It was quite a celebration and a truly special moment to witness our first snow.....ever.

Hannah's Swimming Lessons

We will be doing a ton of swimming next summer with the inn's pool available to us anytime we want. Susanne offered to take Hannah to swim lessons with Aileen at the YMCA. She went every Tuesday and Thursday for the entire month on October. She is not quite swimming on her own yet, but is not far from learning. Abbie took these photos.
